Kermit Sutton is a retired attorney and lifelong creative writing enthusiast with a passion for storytelling and connecting with young readers. After a rewarding career in law, Kermit turned his attention to creative writing, bringing his imagination and life experiences to children’s literature. His book, YIKES!! My Freckles Are on Backwards and Upside Down!, combines humor, imagination, and heart to create an engaging story that encourages children to look at themselves with confidence and appreciation.

Through his writing, Kermit hopes to inspire children to embrace what makes them unique while learning the importance of kindness, self-acceptance, and believing in themselves. His storytelling reflects his belief that children’s books can entertain while also opening meaningful conversations between children, parents, grandparents, and educators. With warmth and humor, Kermit continues to explore the joy of storytelling and the positive lessons that can be found in everyday experiences.
